GitHub Import into GitLab

20201023 The use case here begins with creating a new GitLab project, either hosted on GitLab.com itself or else on a self hosted GitLab instance. We want to import the repository description, data, issues, pull requests, pull request reviews, etc.

In the GitLab browser interface, click the New Project button. Then select the Import project tab. Choose the GitHub button. From GitHub supply a Personal access token. Then choose the repository to import.
