Git Merge Branch to Master

$ git push origin kt/dev         # Push local branch to remote
$ git checkout main
$ git pull origin main
$ git merge kt/dev
$ git push origin main
$ git checkout kt/dev

Note that if you have already set the upstream as in:

$ git push --set-upstream origin kt/dev

then the push command does not need that to be specified:

$ git push
