40.2 Kadesh Dell Latitude 7440

20231019

Kadesh is a Dell Latitude 7440 with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and an Intel i7 13th gen CPU (i7-1365U) with 12 cores. It can handle heavy workloads for software development and AI, as well as the daily usage on-the-go. It is a premium laptop that is very close but not quite up there with the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga in terms of keyboard feel, touchpad, etc.

Decide to install Ubuntu over Windows rather than side-by-side since I want full disk encryption on the laptop for protection, using LVM encryption with a passphrase.
